About the event
The GCC S1 5km Race Day is a fun, community-focused event to celebrate the completion of the 2026 S1 GCC programme. Hosted on campus, the event invites participants, along with their friends and family, to take part in a relaxed 5km run or walk.
The day aims to promote fitness, encourage programme completion, and create an engaging social environment. Attendees can look forward to finisher medals, light refreshments, and the opportunity to purchase branded merchandise and GCC learning materials and an opportunity for Semester One candidates to meet in-person.
This event also serves as a platform to introduce and generate interest in the upcoming S2 programme, while fostering a sense of community and achievement among participants.
