Course Approach

Learn - We will present the basic OHS Act and General Machinery Regulation Two theory that will provide context and solid foundation.

Practice - We will go through examples together where we apply the theory in the context of the GMR 2.1 role.

Apply - You will be allowed to apply the theory and lessons learned from examples to complete a class project which will then be evaluated by the course leader.

Module 2: GMR 2.1 roles and responsibilities

Module 3: Establishing, implementing, and maintaining an ISO 45001 safety management system

Module 4: Establishing, implementing, and maintaining an ISO 45001 safety management system

Time Commitment

You are expected to attend the classes as per the schedule for three days. 

Every class will start promptly at 8 AM and end at 5 PM. We will have daily registration & morning coffee from 7:30 AM.

Certification

To obtain the Certificate of Completion, the student must achieve at least a 70% attendance rate (i.e. attend at least two of the three classes).

In addition, the student must submit the class project and receive a Competent Grade from the assessor.
