Steam Generator Plant Tour

Steam Generators form part of the GCC Factories Plant Engineering exam and many candidates seem to be struggling with its questions. Furthermore, recent examiner's reports indicated that GCC Factories Candidates seem to lack practical understanding.

To help address the challenges with steam generators, Palucraft is arranging a Power Plant Tour where candidates will get the opportunity:

• Gain a practical understanding of the power plant operations
• Gain insights into the typical power plant challenges

The details of the plant tour are as follows:

Date: 19 September 2024

Arrival venue: The Campus, Twickenham Building, Corner Sloane and Main, Bryanston

Arrival time: 6 AM

Destination: Camden Power Station

What’s included with the fees:

• Transport from Bryanston to the power station
• Arrival light breakfast at Bryanston
• Travelling snacks
• Plant tour guide
• Lunch at Bryanston on return from power station
• PPE (dust masks, ear plugs, reflector jacket, goggles, and helmet)

What you will need:

• Must be physically fit (we will be climbing up over 70 m)
• Safety boots
• Identity Document (copies will not be accepted)
• Signed indemnity (will be provided on the day)
